The rules for using fsonews.com and FSO News newsletters, including paid subscriptions.

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the FSO News website at fsonews.com and our email newsletters, including the free daily newsletter and the paid Insiders newsletter. FSO News is operated by Thexyz Inc ("we", "us", "our").

By using the site or subscribing to a newsletter, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our newsletters.

Use of the site and newsletter content

You may read, download and print our content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Unless we give you permission in writing, you may not:

republish, redistribute, sell or license our articles or newsletters, in whole or in substantial part;
forward or share paid Insiders content with people who have not subscribed, or share your account;
copy the site's content in bulk, including by automated scraping.

You are welcome to quote a short excerpt from our content, as long as you credit FSO News and link to the original article.

Intellectual property

The content on the site and in our newsletters, including text, graphics, charts we create, and the FSO News name and wordmark, belongs to us or to our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Using our content does not give you any ownership of it. Brand files are available on our Brand Assets page and must be used as described there.

Not financial advice

Everything we publish is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or other investment.

We do not know your personal circumstances, and our content does not take them into account.

Trading and investing involve risk, including the risk of losing some or all of the money you invest.
Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Accuracy and no warranties

We work to keep our content accurate and up to date, but markets move quickly and information can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. The site and newsletters are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thexyz Inc and its owners, staff and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any trading or investment losses, that result from your use of, or reliance on, the site or our newsletters.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Insiders in the 12 months before the claim arose, or, if you have not paid us anything, to zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

Third-party links and ads

The site and newsletters may link to other websites and show advertising, including ads served by Google. We do not control third-party sites or ads, are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices, and do not endorse them by linking to them or showing them. How advertising cookies are used is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions

Free newsletter

The free daily newsletter costs nothing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Insiders (paid)

Insiders is a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree that:

you will be billed in advance, on a recurring basis, at the price and billing interval shown when you sign up;
your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel;
payments are handled by a third-party payment processor, and you must give accurate billing information.

Applicable taxes may be added where required.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel Insiders at any time, either through the link in our emails or by emailing suni@fsonews.com.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to Insiders until then, and you will not be charged again.
We do not give refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Price changes

We may change the price of Insiders. If we do, we will give you notice by email before the new price applies to your subscription, and the new price will take effect from your next billing period after the notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site, a newsletter or Insiders if you abuse the service or break these terms, for example by redistributing paid content, sharing your account, scraping the site, posting abusive or spam comments, or attempting to interfere with the site. You can stop using the site and cancel your subscriptions at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree that the courts of Ontario, Canada have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects paid subscribers, we will let them know by email. Continuing to use the site or newsletters after a change means you accept the updated terms.
