Apple hits new low in disappointments from MacBook Pro event
After over 3 years, Apple finally announces a new MacBook Pro line-up yesterday, and aside from one major feature, it was mostly a disappointing event, given how long it’s been since Apple last overhauled the design and hardware of its flagship laptop. Plus, it was just the previous day that Microsoft stunned the tech industry with its innovative Surface Studio, which represents the company’s forward-thinking approach.
From some of the tweets listed below, it’s clear that this is not Apple’s finest hour. The company did its best to talk up its new products on stage yesterday with flashy visuals and fancy voiceovers, but the wishy-washy presentation only served to expose Apple’s inability to innovate as it once did.

There is one guy who keeps clapping like 1/2 a second too early. It is making me feel weird. #appleevent

The Apple logo doesn’t illuminate anymore because I no longer feel like bringing the light into this world. May the darkness reign forever.

We’re already working a newer, thinner MacBook Pro with even fewer ports. And we think you’re going to love it.
